The new retinol exfoliating pads are AMAZEBALLS. Huge fan. Using them reminds me of when I’d use Stridex (anyone else remember these?!) pads in like, 7th grade, to strip all the excess grease off my oily skin… Yikes. I promise these are actually beneficial to use – and so satisfying to see any leftover gunk come off your face and show up on them. They have Retinyl Palmitate (a form of vitamin A that is more gentle than retinol) and glucosamine (an acid-free exfoliator) to exfoliate, renew, and smooth skin without overdrying it. They help to physically exfoliate to clear the skin’s sufrace of impurities to reveal a more even and youthful look!
The Un-Wrinkle Night Cream is super luxe, rich, and full of face-saving nutrients: anti-aging peptides, neuropetitdes, aloe vera, vitamins A, C, E, and pro vitamin B5, retinol, and glycolic acid. This is definitely a heavier night moisturizer, which is great for winter use for me, and would work wonderfully on anyone with normal to drier skin.
I had the pleasure of working with Peter Thomas Roth on this activation and they sent me the collection to try out. I’ve only been using this set for about a week, but so far can see visible improvement in my typically congested areas – lower cheeks, chin, and nose – looking and feeling better from the exfoliating pads. I may have to switch to a lighter night cream once the chilly, dry winter months are done but the un-wrinkle cream is perfect for me right now. As I said, the serum is amazing and has definitely become my nighttime go-to choice (for daytime, I turn to SkinCeuticals Blemish & Age Defense).

The resurfacing pads caused red dots on my skin. Much too harsh for my sensitive skin. Hope the dots aren’t permanent. Will not use them again.
You should reach out to them, I bet they will take them back if it caused a reaction – they shouldn’t have, as they’re really gentle (and I have sensitive skin too). It may be from an interaction with another product – serum, cleanser, moisturizer, etc. Maybe try to test a pad on the inside of a clean wrist to see if it alone irritates it? Hope that helps! x
