Faves From The IT Cosmetics x Sephora Exclusives Launch!

If you didn’t yet know, Sephora recently started carrying IT Cosmetics (as if my VIB Rouge status needed another one of my fave beauty brands to take all my money).

Note: I was gifted the Sephora exclusives and bestsellers from attending an IT event recently in LA. I have always been a huge fan of their brand, and am stoked to be able to share and review these new products with you! As always, opinions expressed in this post are 100% honest and my own.

What I love about IT is that they’re a skincare focused line – they have cutting edge technology built into their product line. They launched a bunch of new products for their Sephora debut, as well as all their bestsellers also being available.

Now, let’s talk about my FAVE IT PRODUCTS.

My #1 from this launch is the Bye Bye Under Eye cream. It smooths, brightens, and depuffs – for real. It has blue algae, caffeine, anti-aging copper, vitamin C, collagen, cucumber extract and peptides to brighten your eyes and fake the fact you didn’t get enough beauty sleep. LOVE.

The Bye Bye Makeup Melting Cleansing Balm is the best multipurpose, makeup removing cleanser I’ve tried (Colleen Rothschild’s cleaning balm is a close second). It smells great and legitimately melts off your makeup, AKA your mascara, which makes this an A+ product in my book. I am lazy when it comes to removing my makeup, especially eye makeup, so using this at night is a huge life (and skin saving) hack.

I’m not ashamed to say I’ve started using some anti-aging products regularly. I’ll be 28 in March, and am a big believer in preventative care so I’ve added a few focused products into my regular routine to combat any signs of aging — I use these guys together as a 1-2 combo punch.

I’m obsessed with the SPF 50 Skin Perfecting Beauty Fluid because it has a subtle, luminous sheen in the formula that helps to brighten your skin and blur any imperfections. I try to wear at least 50 SPF on my face daily, and this isn’t greasy so you can apply over moisturizer and under makeup with no prob.

The Bye Bye Lines serum has anti-aging peptides, hydrolyzed collagen, hyaluronic acid, caviar extract, argan oil, CoQ10 and a bunch of vitamins for “deep hydration and improved skin carrier repair.” It smells good and sinks into your skin making it feel hydrated, smooth, and light – I use it a few times a week in the morning, rotating it with my SkinCeuticals serum. Only downside to this is I wish it came in a bigger size – I use about 3 pumps each time, so I expect to use it up fairly quickly.

Other notables include the *illuminating* under eye concealer, which is equally as good as their illuminating CC cream, and the Je Ne Sais Quoi hydrating lip cream, which is possibly my fave chapstick of the moment as it feels AMAZING, plus it boosts the natural color of your lips. Also: their brushes are amazing. Check out this post for more on their brush collections — their synthetic brush hairs are infused with anti-aging collagen, silk, peptides, niacin, and antioxidants. They’re pro-hygenic, which is perfect for sensitive skin types like me. They feel AMAZING. I am obsessed. The powder brush is my fave.

Has anyone ever tried IT before? If so, what’s your favorite product? Let me know!

xx

  1. Okie doke, FIRST, I love love love the new layout. So cute, easy to read and very YOU ( I say that like I know you… lol ) and second, I am of course obsessed with IT illuminating CC cream and bye bye under eye, like can’t live without them. I’ve always used Dior Lip Glow for chapstick/gloss that adds a little pink. Is the IT Je Ne Sais Quoi kind of like that??

Thanks gorg! I love reading your blog!

    1. THANKS BABE!! I am loving it too, just need to spend about 1000 more hours making it perfect. ;) And if you read my site or follow me… You know me. We’re best internet friends, OBVIOUSLY.

The IT je ne sais quoi is probably similar (besides price haha). I like the natural flush and sheen it gives over a glossy SHINE, plus it’s not formulated with petrolatum (most chapsticks are and petrolatum is petroleum which is a refined fossil fuel – not good for your skin, but people don’t pay attention) so I like it for that. Haven’t tried the Dior lip glow but now I might have to! IT just launched a handful of similar color boosting stains and glosses, I have them and am working to get my review up so you may want to check those out too. xx

      1. So sorry for super duper late response to this… but thank you so much for responding to me!! Uhh no, I pay MAJOR attention to the ingredients in everything I do/use/eat so no petrolatum is a must for me. I bought je ne said quoi the other day actually and am lovvvving it!

Cant wait for your review on their new stains that is so exciting! I wish I could have one of everything from them!

        XO, Madison
