It is an untethered home for the newly forming, borderless society carrying a shared vision of the world we are making together.
Further Future is a new type of music and lifestyle festival, taking place on the Moapa River Reservation outside of Las Vegas from April 29 – May 1. Presented by the forward-thinking curators behind Robot Heart, the event boasts over 60 world-renowned musicians and luminaries in the fields of tech, culture, gastronomy, mixology, yoga, art, and fashion.
Moving beyond the confines of a traditional music festival, Further Future establishes a modern means of social movement and cultural change, engaging a conscious community through a unique curation of world-class musicians and art, alongside inspiring leaders in the areas of science, entrepreneurship, innovation and technology.
Over the weekend, Further Future will host an all-star Vision Speakers series to explore the future of media, cannabis, tech, health, and more… There will be a series of talks focusing on passion and the driving forces behind creative pursuits, as well as a panel on the Future of Music… An interactive series on technology and consciousness, where we can interact with the creations that will shape our future.
Last but NOT least, there is also be a wellness program with a variety of beauty/spa offerings – airbrush body art, fantasy makeup, hair styling, henna tattoos, massage therapy, acupressure, and IV therapy drips. Like… Whoa. SIGN ME UP!!!
While the nerd in me is geeking out over all of the talks, presentations, and panels – I’m also losing my mind with excitement over the lineup. There is music around the clock at this festival – one of my favorite artists, Dixon, is playing a SIX HOUR sunrise set on Saturday morning.
Lineup reactions: I’m unbelievably excited to FINALLY see HVOB live, and in such an amazing setting… and I’m probably going to cry from the feels at some point during Dixon’s 6 hour sunrise set. Other notables I’m very excited about: DJ Tennis, YokoO, &ME, Lee Burridge, Rampue, Caribou, Nicholas Jaar, Frank & Tony, Elderbrook, Four Tet, Satori, Fort Romeau, and more.
I’ve got some homework (aka Soundcloud stalking) to do on the artists I’m not yet familiar with, but that’s one of the best parts of these festivals – you discover so much new music and so many new artists and sounds.
