Let’s Talk About Wearing Glasses.

Do I have your attention? Good.

Let’s talk about spring eyeglasses fashion. I’m beyond nearsighted so I wear frames regularly and rotate styles depending on my mood. I mean… You know how picky I am about the frames I wear, and they only go on my face!

Warby Parker Eyeglasses - Arthur Jet Black

I think he this pair looks like my type.

In my humble four-eyed opinion, frames are the most important factor when choosing glasses – it is critical that the style compliments the shape of your face! If not: Cue that scene in Clueless where Cher’s computer yells, MISMATCH! at her.

Meet the Warby Parker Spring 2015 Collection.

If you’re new to Warby Parker, they’re rad. Huge variety of quality glasses that are on point with trends and reasonably priced. The frames are made from acetate to make them more durable, plus all come with anti-reflective lenses. BONUS: For each pair sold, they distribute a pair to someone in need through nonprofit partners.

Warby Parker Eyeglasses - Brooks Oak Barrel and Arthur Jet Black

There are eight new shapes and six new colors in their spring collection, which has a distinct nautical influence. Lots of subtle variation between the styles, with cool color and texture details, which I love.

Glasses really are a functional accessory for your face! Picking the perfect pair requires a critical eye – literallyLet’s take a peek at some of my faves.

Warby Parker Eyeglasses - Archie Citron

She’s wearing the Archie in Citron (left), but I love the frame on this crystal clear style as well, which is the Haskell.

I’m pretty obsessed with this color/texture they dreamed up – the Aurelia Tortoise. On the left is the Newton frame, which is probably my favorite of the collection. It has a slight cat eye which is universally flattering. The right side style of glasses is the Daisy.

Warby Parker Eyeglasses - Sullivan Saltwater Matte

I also LOVE this pair, the Sullivan. They stand out beautifully on a redhead, as you can see… Saltwater matte frames with matte red seaweed contrast.  Classic style, but I think the gorgeous blue hue will compliment any eye color and make them pop.

Even if your vision is 20/20, glasses are always a good look. Check out the full collection here to see all the new styles and nautical details!
