spotted: lana del rey posting a bundle of remixes on her soundcloud earlier this morning.
upon seeing this, i immediately smoked a joint in her honor and then listened through my options to see if any did her justice. one of my recent favorite (read: successful) remixes was by ZHU – who has had the golden touch for a minute, so the odds were ever in his favor.

this one is my favorite, but i’m not feeling it 100% yet. maybe if i listen five more times.
no. no. no. i even like a few hook & sling tunes but i almost cried at how awful lana sounds in this one. it’s like a manufactured festie hit, so… i guess that would make sense.
it’s summer and tropical house is so hot right now – or nah. the vibez are all wrong with this one… i can’t even finish listening. sorry not sorry to be rude but this is just a beach party tune gone wrong and it does not work for me.
this one was …interesting. i don’t totally hate it, so that makes it my second favorite.
