scb’s guide to summer chic.

Happy Monday! Before I talk about what’s hot for summer and how to wear it… I must share details with you guys about the chloe + isabel semi-annual sale that’s happening now. Enjoy 50-75% off over 80 of our bestselling styles – ends next Sunday. Feel free to message me on Twitter or shoot me an email if you’re looking for anything specific and we’ll get you hooked up and blinged out! You can find my faves in the first collection of my boutique, or shop the entire sale lookbook.

I’ve compiled photos from all of my fave fashion bloggers, to show how they’re exploring the current summer trends expressed through their personal styles. Personally – I’m feeling booties, graphic prints, wide-leg pants, strappy shoes, and ORANGE!! really is the new black… I’ve been wearing Lady Danger forever waiting for orange to have a moment.

You’ll find the names and sites of these babes below their photos – if you don’t keep up with them yet, do! I find it’s much easier for me to work a trendy piece or concept into my own style if I’ve seen someone *real* like the ladies I’ve chosen below, do so stylishly and successfully.

summer chic: look hot, keep cool

Blair of Atlanta-Pacific

I need those studded flats in my life… she is the epitome of preppy chic. I die for her on the daily – love the feminine yet street vibe she has going on with this fit.

Jacey of Damsel in Dior

Lace up sandals, obsessed. Line-y items are gonna go into fall. I love how effortless this look is – perfect for a girl on the go.

Danielle of Envision Pretty

I’m having a moment over blue right now, so this cheery number paired with the neutral bag and statement necklace is a wearable look I dig. Topping a sundress with a jean jacket is a summer classic.

Julia of Gal Meets Glam

The best of boho chic… I’ve been on the hunt for a neutral colored pair of low ankle booties.

Helena of Brooklyn Blonde

Those lace up heels are so good they’re bad, but the pleated (fringe?!) leather skirt is the real winner. I feel like everyone is throwing on a button down for the ultimate in unfinished yet put together look. I want a job where this is what I wear to work every day. Right?

Danielle of We Wore What

I love how she paired the bold graphic pants with Birkenstocks here – perfect crisp but casual summer combo. Being from the Pacific Northwest, I’ve always had a pair of Birks in my closet, so I’m secretly kind of excited about the Jesus sandal trend making a real comeback. Don’t tell.

xx
