Full Moon in Gemini & December Horoscopes… PS. Mercury Retrograde Is Coming!

I found this somewhere on the internet and actually LOL’d because it’s so me. SO me.

I’m a Gemini rising with my Mars and Jupiter in Gemini, too… Sometimes I think I can be “detached,” but then I realize I’m actually being delusional. If I’m detached, you’re pretty much dead to me. If I don’t feel anything about it, it’s not real. There is no in between – I have feelings about everything. EVERYTHING. I live my life more by feeling than thinking.

That’s because I’m a Pisces sun/Cancer moon with Mercury and Venus in Pisces… and I also have a grand water trine, which should tell you everything you need to know about my intuitive/emotional sensitivities that I can’t ever get away from. However, this full moon being in Gemini is giving me an extra boost of detatchment powers so I actually feel like a champ right now… Usually I get rocked by full moons, because Cancer is ruled by the moon and that’s my moon sign and all I can really say is I’m just an emotional little water baby, OKAY?????

Anyway, enough about me and my psycho natal chart, let’s get on to my main point with this post…

Yesterday was a full SUPERMOON in GEMINI. Supermoons “amplify the energy of the full moon, enabling us to receive powerful healing during the full moon ritual.” Gemini is a mutable air sign, ruled by Mercury (which, SOS, is going retrograde soon) and in charge of the conscious mind (thinking and communicating), nervous system, lungs, hands, arms, and shoulders.

Full moons are a period to release, purge, move forward, and level up. Release all of the shit that no longer serves you and your progress to becoming your best self. Use this time to write down blockages you want to clear fears, patterns, or energy that is blocking us or holding us back. Write a list of all that you wish to release, and then you’ll burn it up and feel bad ass and SO MUCH BETTER (more on this process in a sec).

Also: if the word “ritual” freaks you out in this, I feel you. I don’t particularly care for the word either but haven’t found a better one to describe the writing/releasing activity associated with a full moon… It’s not like, voodoo or anything. Don’t worry. You’re just writing words on paper!
